Microscopy workshops for schools

Our microscopy workshops allow school children to learn about the power of using different kinds of lenses and microscopes to discover the microscopic world. The content of the workshop varies slightly depending on the age of the students and the aspect of the curriculum that needs to be covered.

Young children are natural scientists and really, really enjoy doing experiments: but do not take our word for it, please check  what they have to say for themselves here.

If you would like EdinCell to go to your school and organise a workshop, contact us at edincell@ed.ac.uk
